The ultimate pursuit of perfect skin is every woman's career throughout their life. No matter who you are and what you do, healthy and flawless skin is always the sign of youth and beauty. Women of every age group has skin problems. Among the most common skin issues--- dullness, redness, acne, wrinkles, fine lines, spots, enlarged pores are the most concerned ones. 

Dealing with these difficult problems is not as simple as putting make up on your face.There are tons of skin care products out there helping you achieve your goal---flawless skin.  It goes without saying that these awesome products have wonderful  ingredients that contribute to the improvement of our skin both short-term and long-term. And some of these ingredients are highly concentrated extract from natural things such as plants and soil, which are clinically proven to be beneficial to human skin. We learn tricks and tips from beauty magazines and other media about how to get better skin. Some of us are even trying our own ways to get prettier looking skin. All these are helpful. However, I am a big fan of the philosophy that we want to improve our skin condition from the inside, not covering our embarrassment from the outside. 

Influenced by my dearest mom and mentor, I started a whole system of skin treatment plan. It is not a use of a single product or the practice of an exercise. It is a long-term, comprehensive, and radical skin perfecting plan. It entails every aspect of your life including your diet, way of living, well being, and more. It is not an easy task to do, but the result will be perfect skin for the rest of your life. This idea originates from the philosophy of Chinese way of preserving one's good health. For those who are not familiar with traditional Chinese way of keeping fit, don't get scared. It is actually being more and more accepted and widely practiced these days in the US and is proven to be effective. 

This post is only an introductory preview to the skin treatment plan. I will post more blogs about this long-term plan. Hope to give you some advice and help you some ways in your journey of pursuing natural, healthy skin! 

Mascara that wows me!!!! Urban Decay super curl curling mascara

I do not want to use any other mascara after I had this amazing experience with Urban Decay super curl curling mascara. I am extremely pleased with what I see and I want my lashes look exactly like that. It is one of the most amazing mascaras that I have ever tried. 


It really does what it claims to do. I would say for people who have super straight lashes like me, this may be the best choice for them because it makes your lashes go upward and makes it curled. Of course you need to use a lash curler before hand to hold your lashes curled. But with the help of this mascara, your lashes will stay curled for a long time. Besides that, it also makes your lashes go wow wow like saying hi to everybody. It adds length and volume to your lashes, making them look fuller, thicker and longer. One more thing about it is that it is non clumping. I hate it when my mascara clumps, making my lashes look like spider feet. Here is a quick tip to get nicely separated lashes: using a mascara wand and comb your lashes from the top.

Pressed powder foundation that surprises me-POWDER FX

Honestly, I was totally surprised by the coverage it gives me. I am a big fun of liquid foundation. I don't usually wear foundation because I hate to feel caky and creasy. But if I do wear it, I prefer liquid because liquid gives me the most coverage and it does not crease on me.

But POWDER FX by Cover FX cosmetics is truly an amazing product that makes me so pleased with my skin when I look at myself in the mirror not only because it covers everything instantly, but also it stays on all day long. I always hear customer's complaint about their foundation being so heavy and fading so fast during the middle of the day. This awesome powder is medium to full coverage depending on your skin condition. It definitely covers up any spots on your face. It works like a concealer too if you don't want to put too much stuff on your face. It stays at least 8 hours without caking up your skin. It has this great matte finish, which is good because your clothes will not be a victim.

There are just so many good things about this product that I want to say. But what works for me may not necessarily work for you. So why not go ahead and give it a try at any Sephora store near you!

What eyeliner can be so glossy!!!

We all love eyeliners but are always complaining about ours. It is either not dark enough, not smooth enough or it smudges on us, making us end up looking like a raccoon. Out of all the eyeliners that I have tried so far, I will have to say that the too faced Lava Gloss pencil eyeliner in black is my absolute favorite.

I love it because the color is intense, texture is glossy and smooth, and it lasts long . I was surprised to see the jet black line on my hand when I first tried it. It is hard to get such an intense black like that. On top of that, lava gloss pencil is so smooth. I am so happy with the texture of the pencil because it just glides on my skin so easily without using that extra strength or drawing the line repeatedly to get that intensity you want. Also, the glossy finish is what makes me fell in love with it. It just looks like a liquid liner if no body told me that it is actually a pencil. Now you can use your lava gloss pencil to draw your upper lash line to get that liquidish look if you are not very good at using a liquid eyeliner. With my lava gloss liner, I don't need to worry about looking like a raccoon at the end of my day because it stays on where it supposed to stay without running all over my eyes. Oh, you know what, it is a regular pencil that you can sharpen with a regular pencil sharpener without losing much of the product.

There is no reason for me not to love it. Go to sephora and try it yourself. I am sure you will be surprised by what your lava gloss can do for you!

Product Review on Bare Minerals ALL WRAPPED UP 6-piece Collection of Festive Eyecolors

I can only say this is an amazing pigment collection by Bare Minerals. One of the best holiday gift boxes by this company. I've been wanting this for ages and finally I made up my mind to get it when I saw it on sale that day. I tried all of the pigment on the back of my hand in the store and I was immediately amazed by the gorgeous color! They are ultra shiny and sparkling! If you want to create looks like the Sephora Christmas catalog, this box is definitely the one that you need to get. It comes with six colors: blue, pink, beige, green, purple, and brown. Pretty basic tones that you can use for any occasion (another good thing about this magic box).
One more good thing about it is that the pigment is intense and shows very easily on your skin. If you are a pigment person, go get it now! For those who are used to pressed powder eyeshadow, it's time for you to make some change, lol. You will be surprised by how pretty the color is and how easy it is to use. Just use any of your eyeshadow brushes, pat it on your eyelid, and use regular technique to blend. I normally use a medium sized dome brush to do my eye make up coz it does a good job blending the color. Do a circular motion to blur the harsh line of the colors and get a faded smoky look.
